Ramakrishna Mission a worldwide spiritual movement  which aims at the harmony of religions, all-round development of human faculties, social equality, and peace for all humanity, without any distinctions of creed, caste, race or nationality. Worship of God in Man is the guiding ideal of the organization.

The Mission started relief work on 22-5-2009 among the refugees displaced from Vanni.  The  Mission  provided Food, Clothing, Sanitation and Medical Facilities to the refugees.  The Mission has already spent more than US $ 209,000/- for the relief work. The Mission continues various programmes for rehabilitation of the refugees.
